Secret 25/59: Become a Judge When You Evaluate Your Answers
When you evaluate your answers, become a judge, not a supporter of
your own mistakes.
Most students try to defend what they have written.
They say, “I wrote something… so it should be correct.”
That attitude prevents growth.
A judge does not ask, “Did I write something?”
A judge asks, “Is it correct? Is it complete? Is it relevant?”
When you check your answers:
- Do
not be emotional.
- Do
not be attached to what you wrote.
- Be
objective.
- Treat
your answer as if someone else wrote it.
If it is correct, keep it.
If it is wrong, erase it.
If it is incomplete, improve it.
If it is irrelevant, remove it.
Remember, nobody is born perfect.
Getting 100% is not about being perfect from the beginning.
It is about correcting mistakes repeatedly.
Life itself is not 100% perfect.
But progress happens when we move step by step:
- From
40% to 60%
- From
60% to 80%
- From
80% to 95%
Perfection is not the starting point and
Correction is the process.
Every time you evaluate your answer honestly, you move one step closer
to mastery.
So do not fear mistakes.
Fear unseen mistakes.
Seen mistakes can always be corrected.
A judge is not emotional.
A judge is fair.
A judge looks at facts.
Become that judge for your own answers.
That is Secret 25 of the 59 Secrets to Studying.
